"Too fashionable for a bank"
For my second trip to london of this summer I had the opportunity to visit Coutts private bank for an open day. As my cousin works, there he was able to get me a place on one the the three open days they've ran this year. Those of you who know me know that I don't necessarily have an interest in banking or finance and my true passion lies in the feild of psychology, however I am a strong believer in the idea that every experience/ opportunity is a good one and also think its good to keep an open mind.
I had to wake up at 5.30 to be in London from Bedford at 8.15 this required some outfit pre-planning and so the pictures you see are actually from when I was back in Peterborough... More deception, because I actually didn't wear this on the day as I forgot my grey jumper and my cousin told me I was dressed too fashionably for a bank.. yet I seem to remember a woman in a paisley pink skirt suit going down the escalators.. But we won't talk about that because that was technically a compliment from her so I'm not complaining.
|(I changed into the trousers afterwards but I wore these shoes with a pencil skirt)|
Anywho, I had a great day at Coutts, and felt so prestige being in the queen's bank, I still liked what I wore even though it was more grown up than what I'm used to and met some cool (and good looking) people.
Can we talk about how fly and grown up I look in this H&M trench coat that I got in Norwich for a tenner?!!!
Have you guys made any AW purchases yet?
